Freon is used as a refrigerant in refrigerators and air conditioners. According to the Freon Recovery and Destruction Law, Freon must be collected and disposed of properly through detoxification. The emission of Freon into the atmosphere causes damage to the ozone layer and increases the amount of UV rays reaching earth, which is harmful to life. This leads to higher rates of cataract-development and skin-cancer. In addition, the buildup of a layer of Freon in the atmosphere is considered to be one of the causes behind global warming.
Bring it in or let us come and collect it
Leave your fluorocarbon collection to us. We will go and collect fluorocarbon from your worksite (Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Tochigi, Chiba, Kanagawa and Saitama only). After fluorocarbon collection, we store it in compressed gas cylinders, detoxify these at a contractor designated for disposal, and issue certificates stating that the fluorocarbon has been collected and treated. We also dispose of the of the equipment body.
